Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
LearnEU does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. There is no account to create, no server of ours to talk to, and no analytics or advertising code in the app.
What stays on your device
The app saves your progress locally, using your device's own app storage:
- which lessons and units you have completed, and your crowns
- your answer history per question, and the mastery figures derived from it
- your daily streak and the date you last practised
- your scores on checkpoints, milestones and mock exams
- your settings, including reminder times and chosen language
- a flag recording whether the full unlock has been purchased
None of it leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, and clearing the app's storage in your system settings has the same effect. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had it.
Network access
The app requests internet access for two reasons only:
- Loading its own content. The lessons and questions are files served with the app itself. Nothing about you is sent when they load.
- Purchases. Buying or restoring the full unlock is handled by Google Play Billing or Apple's StoreKit, which run their own network connections. See below.
Everything else — every lesson, every question, every timed paper — works with no network at all.
Purchases
The full unlock is a one-off in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Your payment details are handled by them and are never seen by, or passed to, this app or its developer. We receive no name, no email address and no card details — only, from the store, confirmation that a purchase exists for the device in front of you.
Those stores apply their own privacy policies to the transaction: Google and Apple.
Notifications
If you turn on practice reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device. No push service is involved, nothing is sent to us, and you can turn them off in the app or in your system settings at any time.
Children
LearnEU is a study aid for adults preparing for EU competitions. It is not directed at children, and since it collects no data, it collects none from them either.
Your rights under the GDPR
The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over personal data held about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. The data on your device is under your control: clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it erases it completely.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
